Houzz Rejection — What Happened
Houzz has the strictest review policy of all platforms.
They reject reviews for:
- external links
- references to your own website
- references to case files
- references to legal issues
- references to Building Control
- references to engineering documents
- anything that looks like a dispute
The link to the website is the reason
Houzz’s policy explicitly states:
“Reviews cannot contain external links or references to other websites.”
The links to a case file trigger a rejection.
✔ The solution
Using a shorter, softer version with no link:
Houzz‑safe version: The structural pack I received didn’t match the updated design for my extension. The engineering document had the wrong project address, and amendments I paid for were not delivered. Communication delays were blamed on internet issues, and although a refund was mentioned, nothing happened. These issues prevented accurate builder pricing and delayed Building Control submission.
This still has not passed Houzz moderation.
Conclusion
No link, no problem.
