“The structural engineering service I received from Freedom Homes Architects fell far below acceptable standards. The pack was not Building Control‑ready, contained technical errors and omitted paid‑for amendments.”

“We’re sorry to hear about your concerns. We have tried to contact you to discuss the matter, understand the issues raised and work towards a resolution, but unfortunately we have not received a response. Please feel free to contact our office at any time. We remain keen to discuss your concerns and find a suitable resolution for you.”
Documented facts behind the review
The review is based on documented events:
- I paid £1,390 for a structural engineering pack and £280 for an amendment fee.
- The pack delivered used an earlier design and did not match updated window sizes, new openings or the revised roof arrangement.
- The engineering document contained the wrong project address.
- Amendments I paid for were acknowledged but not delivered.
- These issues prevented accurate builder pricing and delayed Building Control submission.
Why the wording was amended
TrustATrader requested that my original review be amended to remove names, websites and any wording that could be considered defamatory. The current text is the version they approved, which focuses on service quality, technical readiness and missing amendments without making personal accusations.
